Attempt #3 of getting pics of Eli and Kennedy together....

So I am bound and determined to get a good picture of these two little munchkins together!! Now that they are both mobile pretty sure I have my work cut out for me!! Kennedy wasn't feeling so well (cough and fever) so this shoot was rather difficult... I couldn't even bribe her with M&Ms... As much as I tried to "pose" them they continued to do what they wanted... Usually it was Eli falling out of the chair and Kennedy looking away from the camera, giving dirty looks, or running the other direction....They did stop to take a min or two to hold hands with each other... They are gonna be the best of friends.....

Kennedy VS Sleep (Sleep finally won)

This picture says it all... I went in to check on Kennedy after about 45 min of protest coming from her room... This is how I found her....

Sweet fall in the air...

Kennedy has been to at least 5 pumpkin patches this year. We took Kennedy up to Oak Glen so she could pick out a special pumpkin with daddy.. She had to look at each and every pumpkin in the patch before she made her choice. After some homemade apple pie and hot chocolate then off to shoot a few photos... She can now officially be "bribed" with mini m&ms.. She says cheese and shows a smile and in return gets an m&m.....Everyone is happy :)

Little Miss Sassy Pants

I was supposed to be getting photos if Eli and Kennedy.... Well Miss K had other plans that day.... To not smile once, run away from me everytime the camera was pointed at her, cry, or make some funny face.. This was by far her most difficult shoot ever!! She was running all over the place... I was a little frustrated when we left because I felt I had not gotten any "good" shots of K. Well looking back now I LOVE the photos I did manage to get. Kennedy has such an amazing and fun personality!! These are things and faces she makes everyday, and what better way to remember them then by getting pictures of them!! I can't help but laugh everytime I look at them :)

A visit from grammie in Arizona

Kennedy had the pleasure of spending a week with grammie Darla who lives in Arizona. It is always such a nice time to visit and spend time together. We had a nice picnic lunch in the park and Kennedy even got to go down a few slides and play in the dirt! Daddy even got in on a few of the pictures :)

Mademoiselle Kennedy officially turns 1

It has been a while since I blogged but life has just been so busy. So my sweet little girl has officially turned 1 years old. Her 1st birthday was so bittersweet. I love each and everyday because I feel like it is a new mile stone for K but on the other hand I officially no longer have a baby... I now have a toddler! Here are just a few pics out of the hundreds that were taken that day!

up, up & away

I cannot get over this set of pics... Auntie M snapped her camera during K's shoot at just the perfect time.. Kennedy was so excited to hold her pink and black balloons... Not so excited when she let them go... Who couldn't smile and laugh at her sour face! She didn't want to do anymore photos after letting go of her prized balloons

Special Parisian pics for Mademoiselle Kennedy

K is 10 months old already! I am already planning her big "poodles and Paris" theme birthday bash. To be planning this little beauties 1st birthday party is so bittersweet. She is growing so fast, which means she is not my little tiny baby anymore. Her auntie Michelle made her passport invitations, which gave us a good excuse to plan up a little Parisian themed photo shoot. I am so excited I am finally learning how to use my DSLR camera I have had for a few years now. I couldn't have a better mentor (M) who helps me along the way.. Here are a few snapshots I took of little princess K

A special visit from Ohio

Kennedy had the pleasure of spending almost a week with pappa and mam-ma Swearingen from Ohio. She had a fun filled week of excitement and laughs. She loved being rescued in the early morning hours out of her crib by pappa and mam-ma (Usually there was some type of alarm set off ie: motion monitor, or house alarm). We even took a trip to Oak Glen and Wrightwood for a little photoshoot. K gets to take her first plane ride in March to visit our family in Ohio. She def def stole some hearts this trip.

9 months already

Kennedy had the pleasure of her Auntie Michelle (Mango Mahalo Photography) taking some special 1st Valentine's Day pics. She is 9 months old already. I think back to how fast the time has passed. She is talking, crawling, feeding herself, walking along furniture, and becoming so independent. I love each new mile stone she hits but feel like they are passing by so fast.  She is the most loving, funny, carefree baby.. She also loves to be the center of everyone's attention. I look at her in awe everyday. A mother's love is truly something that can never be described.

Baby Dedication

Today was a very special day for Kennedy. We dedicated her to God. I always find myself staring at Kennedy wondering what she will be like when she gets older, and I know the way we raise her now will be a big part of the person she turns into. I want her to see her parents living a loving and Godly life. I want her to walk a great path in life. We have been so blessed to have her as our daughter and we have comitted to God that we will rasie her in his ways and according to his word. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have this beautiful, loving, innocent, and smart little girl in my life. My mom, stepdad, brothers and sister in law were all there to be part of her special day, and had a great lunch afterwards!!
